, who gives an intense performance as Helen Lyle, researching the events that lead to the creation of urban legends. Tony Todd oozes creepy charisma as the titular character. Todd creates one of the scariest horror monsters with nothing more than a prop hook. Candyman seamlessly weaves psychological and slaser elements into one of the best horror film of the 90's.
